Initial Empire

PHASE ONE:
Build an Electrolysis plant and acessories to get aluminum.
Build a Foundry and accessories to get steel.
Build more structures.
PHASE TWO:
FIRST, Build a chemistry plant and a resource colony on a Sandland.
SECOND Build an electronics plant.
PHASE THREE:
Build a resource colony in the mountains (Do this early if you can spare the resources).
You should now be established to build components...
Looks Good...

Only thing I would change is to build at least two Electrolysis plants before building a Chemistry
plant. This won't likely be as important if you are a Darkknight or haven't upgraded your production
skill any, but those who have would benefit from having extra Aluminum to keep up with the Steel
that will be pumping out faster. And of course this will result im more Structures faster, which at the
beginning is what you need.
I agree whole heartedly with building the Chem Plant first. I find it best to do this because usually the
planet you build one on will be producing some Coal and Petrolium. The Carbon Fibre is the thing
you really want at first, but the spare Explosive and Polymer are handy to sell off in order to help
subsidize the possible shortages you might be experiencing. Or if everything is copasetic, you'll need
them later anyway when you need to make Nanostructure, Powercell and Drives.
Then you build your Electronics plant. I almost ALWAYS shut off Electronic Chips at first and
foccus strictly on Advanced Chips. The reason I usually do this is because I generally am not
producing enough Silicon, or sometimes Gold, to support making both. And at the first you really
want to be producing Ship Structure as fast as you can. I don't usually start making any Electronic
Chips until I am almost ready to build my Weapons Plant. And by that point usually I will have
hopefully gotten another Resource Colony or two filling the demand for whatever I'm short on.
