Navigator Tips
Wimpy shields can get you knocked out of many battles. Here's a strategy that works very well
against AI opponents and can confuse a human opponent and take them out of their rythm.
Also works well against planet cannons.
With three or more Dekkos or Shuttles in your attack fleet, configure all but one of the ships
(preferably the flag ship) with the normal shield/weapon/generator/engine setup. Equip your flag
ship with two engines, two shields and a generator. Use this ship to draw the enemy fire while the
other ships fire at will. Use your extra speed to dodge laser fire. If your shields get low, run
away and let the other ships take a few shots.
Hope this helps. Remember to reconfigure your flag ship when you leave the game. The AI won't use
this strategy and you'll find yourself dead when you get back.
