Throw on an auto-destruct and when whittle your opponent down with your main ship.
When his shields get low, park your mosquito right in front of him and his canon.
Although a costly strategy, it sure is fun.

One solar generator, one autodestruction, one srx-100, and one light cannon.

Shuttle
Basic shuttle configuration to defeat most pirates: 1 solar generator, 1 jet engine, 1 laser or ion canon, 2 SRX-100 shields.
You may have to sell your mosquitos to get the extra shield.

1 solar generator, 1 jet engine, 1 SRX-100, and 1 laser cannon
OR
1 side thruster, 2 jet engines, 1 salvage pod. Hide this ship in a corner and
when the battle is over, salvage the jettisoned components.

Falcon (for intersteller travel):
Put all your ships into a fleet and put one warp drive V, 2 warp drive I's
and a cargo bay with at least 40 structures on one ship. When you get to a
place close to your destintation (Within the same sector), build a starport,
solar plant, and a planet cannon w/ stationary fleet to edit your fleet for
attack (see below).
Falcon (for attack):
After you reach a place close to your destination (see above), put on
one solar generator, two srx-250's or 1 srx-500, one srx-100, and one double
laser batterie.

Here is a reasonably good outfit for a Jug for the average Starknight
5 SRK's 3 AM gens, 1 AM drive, 1 Overdrive, 1 Side thruster, 1 Heavy ion cannon
That willll take up all the space exept for around 300, you may want to
outfit it with sheild-addons and other stuff Starknights can't get, or
you may want to put more weapons on it as this outfitment gives it near
invicibility, but little attack strength.

If you are a level two player then you should read this.
I have found that the perfect fleet configuration if using 3 falcons are: One with warp drive, a cargo bay,
an srx-100 and some useful gadgets. The other two with a proton torpedo, three solar generators,
and an srx-100 each. Also make an X-30 with two jet engines and an srx-100.
Let the two falcons fire, and let the x-30 fly around a planet cannon or ships to draw enemy fire
towards it, but, because the ship is so fast, only missles will be able to hit it.
